How would you like to be in our upcoming book Living the Law of Attraction??

Through a recent series of  exciting events, we are happy to announce that we have officially signed a book deal with Bob Proctor (from The Secret)  and Life Success Publishing.  Here’s how it all happened:

One of our friends suggested we host a charity event as a way of really raising awareness for Just Cause Gear.  We said “YES” and decided the theme of the event would be “Living the Law of Attraction.”  My good friend Gantry introduced me to a wonderful woman Diane who introduced me to her friend Polly who happens to knows Bob Proctor.  I wanted to meet Polly with the intention that she may be able to get Bob to speak at our charity event.  Well it turns out that not only could she help us get Bob, she also happens to be in the book publishing business with him.  Polly suggested that in addition to hosting charity events that we should publish a book as another way of promoting Just Cause Gear.  Once again, we said “YES.”    

I told my sister Robin we wanted to write a book and she came up with a phenomenal idea.  She said to make it a compilation of Law of Attraction stories, written by ‘everyday people experiencing everyday miracles.’  I said “perfect, like the charity events we can call it Living the Law of Attraction.”   We then, in a moment of inspired action, signed a book deal with Life Success Publishing and now find ourselves writing a book with Bob Proctor.   

Our intention now is to create an inspiring, high-conscious, transformational book full of real-life stories from people who applied the Law of Attraction into their lives and experienced breakthroughs.  There are many great ‘how to’ books explaining LOA principles.  Our book is more of a ‘how do’ as in ‘how do people apply the principles and create miracles.’ 

We are also intending this future best-seller be on bookstore shelves within 4 months from today…and to make that happen we need your help!   Do you have a story that you’d like to share with the world?    Have you experienced something incredible by applying the Law of Attraction into your life?  Are you interested in being a huge inspiration to others?  We have collected many great stories already in which people are experiencing miracles in all areas…physical healing, relationships, financial abundance, contribution and more.  We cannot wait to read your story!

getting ready for take-off…

So we are pretty clear based on everyone’s reaction that we have a great product with an even greater cause.  We are working hard right now to put all the back end pieces together – website is being built (and is taking longer than we’d like!), LLC is being formed, getting the right manufacturer and fulfillment company in place, etc.  Once this all falls into place, (which should be only a couple weeks from now), we will be ready to launch a nationwide PR campaign.  We are very excited about this!! 

The thought of thousands and thousands of people walking around self-expressed and feeling good is inspiring.  The thought of supporting the lives of those who have nothing is what gets me out of bed each morning excited out of my mind!

 So last weekend we had the product image shots taken for the website.  Since the site is not done yet, I thought I’d post a couple of the shots on here.  Mainly because the pix of the kids are just completely adorable!  Thanks and stay tuned…Rich

Just Cause Gear’s premiere public appearance…

On the weekend of January 26-27, Just Cause Gear had it’s ‘coming out’ party at a Meditation Retreat in Sedona, Arizona.  The event was put on by our good friends, Matthew Ferry, Steven Sadleir and Thach Nguyen who offered us a table in the back of the room to sell our shirts. 

We showed up with a large box of shirts and truly no expectations on how many would sell.  We were just excited to see how people would react to the shirts and the cause behind it.  The results were nothing short of incredible.  There were 260 people in attendance and we sold nearly 250 shirts.

 It was incredibly gratifying to see everyone walking around wearing their new shirts…people were feeling peaceful, powerful and very loving.  The best news is that Matthew agreed to match the donations we are making from the sales so we raised approximately $2500 for the orphanage in South Africa.

So in short we are now extremely confident in our product and the causes it represents.  Our next mission is to let the world know about us so we can continue to make a difference.

Oprah and The Law of Attraction

Ever since we started Just Cause Gear people keep saying “oh my god, what a great concept…you guys should be on Oprah.”  As fate would have it, I received an e-mail that Oprah is way into the Law of Attraction and the movie ‘The Secret.’  She will be doing shows on it and is looking for people whose lives have been impacted by it.  Our business is run 100% on the principals of the Law of Attraction so last week I wrote and sent this letter to her: 

This is a story about love and hope.  This is a story about raising individual and global consciousness.  This is a story about understanding and applying The Secret…the law of attraction.  This is a story about making the world a better place for everyone. 

Oprah, let me begin by expressing my gratitude towards you and everyone working with you.  Your mission is to expand global consciousness and make the world a better place.  Your mission is also our mission. My name is Rich German and my business partner and friend is Andy Wong.   

On November 21^st we were having dinner in Newport Beach, CA and decided to form a new company. We wanted to create something that would make people feel good and also raise money for charity.  The idea is that people would buy our product, receive an item that makes them feel good and simultaneously they would be making a charitable donation.   

Our product would be high-quality, high-conscious shirts that would express the true essence of the person wearing the clothes.  The shirts would each have a word on them…love, peaceful or powerful.  The idea was born from our belief that all babies are born as perfect, extraordinary masterpieces.  As they grow up, most people are bombarded by constant negativity from their environments, families, the media and certainly fashion trends.  As a result, people feel unworthy, unloved and live in fear.  Our product would allow people to reclaim their true identity.  We believe people are born to be peaceful and powerful; we believe human beings are love personified.  

We both had been studying the Law of Attraction for a couple years and had recently seen The Secret many times.  We decided to really ‘test’ the secret with this new business.  In fact, on our dinner receipt we wrote:  “We will sell 1,000,000 shirts in 2007 and raise $5,000,000 for charity.”  The truth is we had no clue how we were going to make that happen.  Fortunately we knew we did not need to know.  Our job was simply to create the intention and delegate the how to the universe. Over the next several weeks, a series of little miracles took place. 

Understand that Andy and I are not (well were not) in the clothing industry.  We had no real understanding of how to manufacture and market clothing.  We just stayed focused on our intention and the universe literally created a line of people waiting to assist us. The first thing we wanted to do was to align with a charity.  Over the next several days, everywhere I went and everyone I spoke to kept mentioning Africa.  I was on the phone with a client (I am a business and life coach) who said what she really wanted to do was to go to Africa to help children.  The next day I walk into a coffee shop and a sign said “6000 African children are orphanized each day due to AIDS.”  I was on the phone with Andy and I said “what about Africa?”  The next day he called me back and said “I think we have our first charity.” Amy, a young woman in his office was leaving for South Africa in a few weeks to work at an orphanage.  In that moment we had our charity.  This was the Law of Attraction at work.  (www.aviva-sa.com – Home of Hope). 

Now that we had our charity we said “Oh yea, it would help to have some product to sell!”  We had the concept in our minds.  We knew what we wanted the shirts too look like.  We had no idea how to get them made!  Fortunately the universe was on the job.  Within days everyone we needed simply appeared.  We easily manifested everyone we needed…from the company that made the shirts to the graphic designer to the silk screener to the fulfillment person.  Out of seemingly nowhere we attracted fashion experts who told us what styles and colors were hot.  It was like magic. Within just 3 short weeks of our initial meeting, we had actual product produced!  Since then an entire new stream of people has showed up wanting to help…from website designers, to marketing specialists, to my 13-year old niece who built our myspace page, to store owners who want to carry our shirts, to companies wanting to give us grants, to promoters wanting to promote our cause.  We just stay focused on our intention (to make people feel good and to contribute) and people just show up asking ‘how can I help you?’ – law of attraction baby! As we began telling people what we were up to, everyone kept saying “this is so awesome…you need to get on Oprah!  She will love the concept and she is all about helping the children of Africa.”  We could have easily said “yea right, Oprah…everybody and their mother wants to get to Oprah…no way!”  But instead, thanks to The Secret, we simply said ‘yes.’  And of course all the sudden we get an e-mail regarding this contest… perfect. 

A key to understand is that there has been some effort and action on our part.  What people need to get is that the most important aspect is creating the intention…deciding what they want to manifest.  We decided we want to create a business that would make the world a better place.  That powerful intention created an energy.  That energy put us both into INSPIRED ACTION.  That energy was literally transmitted into the universe and that is what caused all these people to show up saying “hey how can I help?” 

So there has been some ‘doing’ on our part but since we are so inspired the line between work and play has disappeared and our focus is simply on serving others.  We know that by serving others (the customers and the charities) that the universe will reward us beyond our wildest dreams. 

And it already has… 

First of all, when Amy left to Africa on December 28 we gave her a couple dozen shirts to take to give to the kids in the orphanage.  In our minds, our mission was already accomplished.  We made an instant impact.  Also, within a few days of producing our first few hundred shirts we sold them all.  One of our great friends and supporters, Carol, bought 25 shirts and gave them to a group of Somalian refugees living in Vermont.  Within 5 weeks of our first meeting, dozens of needy kids had shirts to wear. These children had never had their own clothes before…let alone shirts that said love, peaceful or powerful on it.  (Please visit or blog at www.justcausegear.com to see pictures). 

So now just 2 months into this venture we are a real company.  We have formed an LLC, our website is almost completed, our message is spreading like wildfire thanks to the Law of Attraction and our goal of sharing our mission with Oprah (and hence the masses) is about to happen.  During this process I shared the project with my dad. I told him we were going to sell a million shirts and raise several million dollars for charity.   He loved the idea and immediately asked: HOW will you market it?  HOW will you sell so many?  HOW, how, how?  I explained that the ‘how’ was not our job.  That the ‘how’ would be taken care of by the universe.  That all we needed to DO was to get clear on the vision…the intention.  Our focus was on creating a product that people would buy because just wearing it made them feel good, plus buying it was helping to make the world a better place. 

I told my dad the HOW was the job of our universal manager who works 24/7 and whose only job was to give me everything I asked for.  Well needless to say my dad was convinced his son had lost his mind! 

I then went on to explain to my dad about the movie The Secret.  I said ‘dad there is this cool DVD that has sold a couple million copies with no advertising, no marketing and no PR…until recently you couldn’t even buy it in a store.’  I explained that the movie is all about the Law of Attraction and that the people who made it understood all they needed to do was to create the movie and intend for the world to respond.  They understand that 99% of manifestation occurs in the declaration.  My parents came to visit me in California over the holidays and we watched The Secret…they are now hooked and can’t stop talking about it. 

So that is our story on The Secret and the application of the law of attraction.  We are excited about what has already occurred and more excited that this story has only just begun.    

Oprah, thank you for the love and hope you bring to so many people.  Thank you for raising individual and global consciousness.  Thank you for bringing The Secret to the mainstream.  It will change the world forever.   Sincerely,
